HILDALE, UT – The community of Hildale is poised to celebrate a significant step in its ongoing revitalization with a special two-part ceremony marking the kickoff of the Maxwell Park expansion project. The event, scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, 2025, will feature a ribbon cutting for a new spring water fill station and a groundbreaking ceremony for the park’s upgrade.
This project is the first phase of a major undertaking that represents a pivotal moment in Hildale’s journey toward a better future. The new spring water fill station, located at the corner of Louis St and Jessop Ave, will ensure residents have reliable access to a vital natural resource. Following this, the community will gather at Maxwell Park to officially break ground on a project that city leaders say will serve families throughout the valley for generations.
The expansion project is a direct result of substantial support from the Utah State Legislature and the Community Impact Board, among many other contributors. This funding has allowed the city to begin providing tangible and impactful improvements that are strengthening the community’s foundation.
City officials express gratitude for the vision and partnership of state legislators, community leaders, educational institutions, and local organizations. Their letters of support and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in making this milestone a reality, demonstrating a strong belief in Hildale’s potential.
This event is more than just a celebration of new facilities; it is a symbol of Hildale’s continued upward trajectory. The project showcases the city’s commitment to strengthening its infrastructure, expanding opportunities for families, and demonstrating its capacity for thoughtful, community-centered development.
The city states that the Maxwell Park project stands as a lasting symbol of what is possible when a community takes ownership of its future with determination, collaboration, and hope.
The public is invited to join in this historic celebration. The ribbon cutting for the spring water fill station will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by the groundbreaking ceremony at 5:00 PM at Maxwell Park, located at 1750 Maxwell Parkway. Light refreshments and a community discussion will follow the groundbreaking.
