Colorado City, AZ – Colorado City Unified School District is proud to announce it has earned an “A” rating from the Arizona Department of Education (ADE), a significant achievement that reflects the district’s continued commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and high-quality instruction. This is the 3rd year that both Cottonwood Elementary and the District have received Arizona’s highest rating.
The ADE A–F Letter Grades system evaluates schools and districts using multiple measures, including student achievement, academic growth, graduation rates, and readiness for college and careers. Receiving an “A” rating places Colorado City Unified School District among the highest-performing districts in the state of Arizona.
“This recognition is a direct result of the dedication and hard work of our teachers, staff, students, and families,” Superintendent Carol Timpson shared. “Our educators consistently set high expectations, build strong relationships, and provide engaging, rigorous learning experiences that help every student succeed.”
